"I have been an employee of the hospital for over thirty years, starting out as an LVN on the night shift in medical/surgery nursing. During my journey here at WGH, I have worked in surgery, Utilization Review, Emergency Department, Education, and even helped in Labor and Delivery. That being said, I must say that working in a rural hospital, prepares you to work anywhere. While small hospitals may lack in the number of patients, they do not lack in the opportunity to develop your skills as a nurse."
